Welcome to Ping a Ride
Ping a Ride is a peer-to-peer matching platform that helps people in the same community connect directly for rides.
We are a matching platform only
We help riders and drivers find each other. We do not provide transportation services, employ drivers, set prices, or take any commission on rides. Once you connect, you arrange the ride and payment directly with the other person.
Direct arrangements
All rides are private arrangements between community members. You are responsible for your own safety, insurance, vehicle condition, and compliance with local laws. Ping a Ride does not guarantee any trip, verify every detail, or participate in the ride itself.
Payments
Fares, tips, and payment methods are agreed upon directly between riders and drivers. Ping a Ride does not process ride payments.
Be a good community member
Treat others with respect. Do not post false requests, harass users, or misuse the platform. We may remove content or suspend accounts that harm the community. Ratings help everyone make better connections.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of Ping a Ride means you accept the updated version. We will post changes here with the new date.
